We are located in the Deux Sevres department, within the Poitou Charentes region of France. Situated on the western side of the country, we are well served by Autoroutes running from the northern coast of France, and are located almost centrally between the airports at La Rochelle, Poitiers, Nantes and Tours.
Bandouille is set in a very historic part of France. Home to the Plantagenets and Richard the Lionheart, following the "Route des Rois de l' Angleterre", Route of the English Kings. Full of places of interest, medieval and historic architecture, quaint villages and gorgeous sunflower fields, there is an abundance of wonderful things and views, to draw and paint, that typify France. The venue is also on part of the pilgrims route of St. Jacques de Compostelle.
